The ProHealthCare cancer walk is right around the corner and I look forward to walking to support cancer programs in my community. I began supporting this mission many many years ago when my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Little did I know at the time, that in the years to come ALL five of my family members would be diagnosed with some form of cancer. So YES, it's personal!! Not to mention the dozens of other friends and family that have fought and are fighting this disease. I recently lost a friend to metastatic breast cancer and will dedicate this walk to her (Jenny G.). All of the proceeds from this walk support local programs. I am proud to be a part of this mission and appreciate any support that you are able to give!
