Hey everyone!

As most of you know, I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in September. This came as a shock to my husband and I as we had just had a baby boy in June. I've been eager to sign up for this walk because all proceeds go to the health care system that has saved my life and many other lives. I cannot say enough about the care I have received over the course of my journey. I still have a long way to go but Dr. Wassenaar and his team of nurses (inpatient and outpatient) have truly been my angels on this earth. I know I have a huge army behind me and this walk is a way that I can give back to the people who have given me so much. If you feel inclined to donate, thank you so much. You are making a difference in people's lives, helping save peoples lives. As we have said throughout this journey, we have been humbled by kindess more than we have been humbled by cancer and for that, we are forever grateful. Thank you for being apart of Abby's Army.
