2024 ProHealth Care Walks for Cancer Frequently Asked Questions
Where will the Walks be held?
- RIVERWALK: Frame Park, 1200 Frame Park Dr., Waukesha
- PARKWALK: Field Park, SW corner of Hwys. 83 and NN, Mukwonago
- LAKEWALK: Fowler Park, 438 N. Oakwood Ave., Oconomowoc
Will there be parking or a shuttle available?
- OCONOMOWOC: Limited street parking is available near Fowler Park. A shuttle will be running between Fowler Park, the Police Department (630 E. Wisconsin Ave.) and Our Savior's Lutheran Church (145 E. Lisbon Rd.) beginning at 8 a.m. Watch for signs.
- MUKWONAGO: Parking will be available at Park View Middle School, 930 N. Rochester Street. Watch for signs.
- WAUKESHA: Limited street parking is available near Frame Park for early arrivals. There will also be parking at the Waukesha County Courthouse in the north lot (watch for signs). A shuttle will be running between the Courthouse and Frame Park beginning at 8 a.m.
What time do the Walks begin?
- 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m. – Turn in donations. Register and/or pick up your T-shirt if you haven't already.
- 9:30 a.m. – Welcome and ambassador's message.
- 10 a.m. – Walks begin!
May I register the day of the Walks?
- Yes, you may register the day of the Walks
- The registration fee will be $40
- T-shirt sizes may be limited
What color are the 2024 Walks T-shirts?
This year the shirts are Carolina blue with a white Walks logo. Sponsor names are on the back.
Do the T-shirts run large or small?
The 100% cotton T-shirts (pre-shrunk) run true to size.
When will the T-shirts be available?
Participants may pick up their T-shirts on the following dates:
- RiverWalk: Tuesday, April 23, noon to 5 p.m. at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, West Entrance
- ParkWalk: Wednesday, April 24, noon to 5 p.m. at Waukesha Memorial Hospital – Mukwonago, 2nd floor conference room (Door 23, near the upper level/cancer services parking).
- LakeWalk: Thursday, April 25, noon to 5 p.m. at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, 1st Floor
Alternatively, participants may pick it up at their Walk site on May 4.
Please note that this year there will be no pre-packed team boxes. We will be happy to accommodate team captains who choose to pick up for their teams or individuals who want to pick up shirts for registered family/friends. Shirts will be pulled at the pick-up site, so please allow extra time.
How long is the route?
- The RiverWalk route is app. 2 miles. Map >

What are the registration fees and deadlines?
- Through April 30: $35 ($30 for those who register online)
- Day of Walks: $40
- March 20 is the final day to qualify for T-shirt shipping ($15 per shirt)
What are this year's incentive levels and prizes?
This year’s incentive levels are $125; $250; $500; and $1,000. Please check here for a peek at this year's prizes. Prizes are cumulative will be mailed directly to participants’ homes app. 8 weeks after the Walks.
What is the deadline for submitting pledges?
You may submit pledges a few different ways.
1. Encourage your donors to submit their donation online on your behalf.
2. Submit your pledges the day of the Walks.
3. Turn your pledges in to your team captain (if you are walking as part of a team).
4. Mail your pledges by May 31, 2024 (no cash, please) to: ProHealth Care Foundation, 725 American Ave., Waukesha, WI 53188.
5. To qualify for incentive prizes, please submit your pledges by May 10.
How are the funds raised at the Walks used?
All funds raised stay in Waukesha County and are used to fund the following: research; patient and family support services; educational opportunities for patients and the cancer care team; pioneering technology; financial assistance; and lifesaving equipment.
